List members are encouraged to use this list to share ideas, seek solutions, and network with others who share the same ideals of a more just community that is ecologically and economically sustainable. This list supports the work of Sustainable Tompkins, a broad-based coalition of organizations and individuals whose mission is to ensure the long-term well-being of our communities and region. Using SustainableTompkins
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sustainabletompkins@lists.mutualaid.org. If your post does not go through and you are a subscriber consider that listserv programs are restrictive in order to keep SPAM out. To prevent having your message automatically trashed by a spam filter consider the following guidelines: (1) Send directly "To:" the list. Don't include any other addresses in the "To:" field. (2) Don't include any type of file or attachment. (3) Send as plain text without any formatting code for fonts, colors, etc. (4) Keep the file size under 80K. (5) If the message is critical or its presentation a concern, send a test to an email address and read it in a program (like telnet) that only displays raw text. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SustainableTompkins
Subscribe to SustainableTompkins by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
