[Crossroads-announce] Creative Mind Arts Center meeting on Tuesday

I'd like to invite people to attend a meeting on Tuesday, August 22 for 
people involved with the Creative Mind Arts Center. The CMAC is a 
volunteer-run, neighborhood arts center at 3109 Troost. We are currently 
planning classes and events for September and the fall semester. Some of 
the classes for kids being organized include photography, creative 
writing for girls, and music classes conducted by the Hip Hop Academy.

We are meeting on Tuesday night at 6:30 pm at the Planet Sub (50th and 
Main).

This morning, Erica, Jeremy, Stacy and myself met to start planning for 
the upcoming classes. At our Tuesday meeting we will talk about the 
calendar, classes, flyers and outreach, organizational issues, and 
fundraising.

There is much excitement in the community about the CMAC, so we hope 
that more folks will join us to make this project a significant part of 
the neighborhoods.
