Yo RTS - DC Critical Mass

Was up?  So I'm going to announce that I'm running for Shadow U.S. Rep
with the DC Statehood Green Party April 12 at the Kaffa House located
1212 U Street 6:30 to 9:00 PM.  It also happens to be an international
day for Critical Mass.  So when the ride is over, come on by and we can
have drink or something.

I'm curious if there are folks interested in a Statehood RTS that
night?  Folks working with me on the Shadow campaign have decided to
have a parade that night starting at 9:30 PM at the Kaffa House.  We
plan on having cool props, street music, dancers and including an 80
foot giant NEW DC Flag (see attached gif).  The route is still being
worked out but we are likely to head up to Adam's Morgan then some other
places, eventually ending at a private residence that has offered to
have a major party to raise money for the campaign.

If you are interested in helping out in any way, please email me
directly.  In terms of RTS taking this on I realize some folks might not
to be associated with the Adam for Shadow campaign because it is
electoral politics and all.  I take no offense if that's the case, but
RTS and Critical Mass peeps should know that I'm proud of my involvement
with these loosely organized groups. The last RTS rocked (except for the
cops).  I had a great time sharing hot drinks with everyone.   I have
had the best time with you all and I just see a good fit with the DC
Statehood cause because we are Reclaiming Democracy when we are on the
streets and that is what my campaign is all about.  Oh yeah, the 80 foot
Dragon might be coming out.

All of this hoopla would be happening on a Friday night.  Great
potential for new folks to learn about RTS etc....
