What: A Celebration of Do-it-yourself Culture, Art, Media and Zines

Graphic Art Slide show with Political Artist:
**Seth Tobocman**(author of War in the Neighborhood and You Don't have to
Fuck People Over to Survive)
**Mikey Zine Movies with local artist Mikey Flugenock**
Mikey will premier his short movie on the Direct Actions that shut down
the Key Bridge the day after Gulf War 2 began.
Saturday, December 13 - FREE - 12 Noon

Street, NW
**The 3rd annual Washington DC Zine Fair**
Dozens of Tables from Infoshops, Activist Groups, Radical Publishers,
Artists and Zines from DC, throughout the east coast and beyond -
Including: Slug and Lettuce, Mikey Zine, AK Press, Black Planet Books,
Autonomedia, Left Turn, Crimethinc, World War III Illustrated!
...and Next Door from 12:30pm - 6pm
At Arthur Flemming Center
Workshops on DIY Publishing, Underground Media, Layout and Design, Making
Zines, and more. As well as performances from DC Poets Against the War and
area folk musicians.
And top it all off with Dinner and Movie:
6:30pm at the Arthur Fleming Center
$5 for the films, $5 for dinner
3 hours of underground and independent films from THE LOST FILM FEST
and a vegan dinner provided by the Gourmet Cooking Cell of the Brian
MacKenzie Infoshop.
Underground Currents will benefit The Brian MacKenzie Infoshop
(www.dcinfoshop.org) and Prevention Works! A local Needle Exchange program
working to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS.
