[dc-critmass-list] How'd the ride go?

  We had a pretty good turnout for such bad weather. For about the first two 
thirds of the ride there were no problems, but when we got to Washington 
Circle two cop cars pulled behind us, and a block later another pulled 
broadside in front. At that point, I hightailed it out, some people ended up 
on the sidewalk "having a conversation" with the cops but were not arrested, 
and the rest of the group basicly returned to Dupon(that part according to 
someone I spoke to yesterday). Interestingly, a bystander asked why the cops 
wern't letting people ride bicycles and was pretty disgusted with them!
