[dc-critmass-list] David van Keuren Tribute - Breaking Away at Visions 17 June

I'm forwarding this, of interest in the memory of David van Keuren, the biker killed on S Capitol a month ago:

The public is invited to Visions Cinema near Dupont Circle on Thursday evening,
June 17 at 6:30pm for a special happy hour and screening of the Academy
Award-winning movie "Breaking Away."

  This event is in memory of David van Keuren, a cyclist who
was struck and killed while bicycling to work last month. Tickets are $10 and
the proceeds will go to support Food and Friends and the organization's work in
assisting those in the DC Area living with HIV/AIDS and other life-challenging
illnesses such as breast, lung and colon cancer.

The evening will kick off at 6:30pm with a happy hour featuring drink
specials, some terrific prize giveaways and a silent auction for a copy of
"Every Second Counts" autographed by Lance Armstrong, soon to be the only
6-time winner of the Tour de France! The movie will start at 7:30pm.
