I'm a dedicated biker and proud DC native, but not very left-y. I commute by
bike in three seasons, but I respect people who need to commute from far
away because of how city planning and the economy have set up where we live
and where we work. I like to ride and by example, help bring awareness of
how effective biking is as a main mode of transport, and how much fun comes
from biking, without it being about left-right politics or war or organic
apples or putting down people who make different choices than I do. So I
ride and talk and have a good time: but not with Critical Mass.
For those of you about to "good riddance" me, I'm planning to stay
subscribed to this list: bickering aside, y'all often have good ideas and
solid info, so thanks for that.
