 WHAT: This ride will target and disrupt important aspects of business and politics as usual in Washington. Bring an affinity group if you can and be ready for a high-energy ride! It will be a few hours long with breaks throughout. Bring water and a helmet!

 WHY: War and Warming bow to the same master: the almighty dollar. War is good for the economy: military spending, fear based consumption, not to mention all the oil under Iraq. As long as it consolidates power into his hands, Bush has no interest in ending the war in Iraq. Likewise, climate crisis is not just a result of the clumsiness of a few large corporations- it is an oportunity for them.As a once healthy planet is replaced by pollution, we will need to look to the corporations who have colonized the earth we once depended on for our basic needs, further securing their positions of power over us. In the marketplace, bloodshed and environmental destruction are indeed desirable activities. This is insanity. To end war and warming, we must end capitalism.
