[dc-critmass-list] Jeremy's Response

This is exactly the kind of thing I was very vaguely trying to get at, with
my mentioning of equality under the law. The point of cycling, or cmass(as i
understand it) isnt to deny motorists the road, but to heighten everyone's
awareness of cyclists. Its ours too, not "its ours, so there." And the
injustice and brutality of one group or regime is in no way any
justification for similar behavior on our part. The correctness of our
position should lend us enough fortitude to act in a manner superior to
those whose behavior we find so reprehensible. Lets ride and share, and most
of all enjoy ourselves (and pray these clouds part from us by this evening).
