Starting in 1976 Bogota, Columbia, according to this announcement a Cyclovia is when a street or multiple streets are "dominated" by our favorite motorless vehicles.  

Bikewalk Alexandria, in promoting one for this Sunday, went out of their way to invite riders of any age, economic class, though still demanding riders under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult.
