***TRAFFIC ADVISORY***

 

Road Closures
 In Rock Creek Park

Maintenance Work Scheduled October 23

 

 

(Washington D.C.)  The following information was provided by the National
Park Service in regard to upcoming road closures in Rock Creek Park.

 

On Thursday, October 23, 2008, the following roads will be closed from 9:30
a.m. until 2:30 p.m.:

 

*	Beach Drive will be closed from Wise Road to Bingham Drive
*	Sherrill Drive will be closed from 16th Street to Beach Drive

 

Maintenance workers will be cleaning catch basins and removing trees and the
closures are necessary to provide space for the equipment and allow
personnel to work safely.
