Looks like I've been removed from AlexandriaBPAC
without notice and I'm not sure if there is even a
removal process in anything close to bylaws
of that reorganizing group...

Tuesday July 19th around 9.30+ pm.

Currently giving warnings, but will be enforcing
ticketing...

I would think bringing in that officer
to a BPAC meeting might be a good
idea, if I were still goingm which I'm not
sure it's worth it given the last meeting.

That would have been pushing it,
as I was considered talking back
when just asked enough to try to figure
out which intersections he had seen me at
in the days/ weeks previous.

It was just a warning,
but the only time I've been stopped
on a bike in a very long time.

They are going to start enforcing and ticketing
especially along Union Street.  They want
bikers to stop like cars, "You are a vehicle,
like a car and must obey laws/ rules/ etc"

I don't think he was a bike cop on different
days, and seem to think I should have had my
headlight on, With the helmet headlight,
the handlebar one is working intermittently
on and off these days, good to see more on,
but still not reliable to tour this weekend...

If my NightRider on the helmet was on,
and I were looking at him, It would have been
blinding and further the rant he had towards
"you bikers".  I was one of a class of people
he didn't like, instead of here is specifically
what you did wrong (no complete stop,
blew through all 7 stops, etc), don't do it again.

He did seem to think I was going to get hit
biking that way, and a lot of the people are complaining
about it in old town, and police don't like it,
(I think he hates the detail of enforcing bikers,
as below / beneath him).

I basically do Messenger rules, ignore signs and stuff,
like DC, and CritMass, as stopping in certain parts of town
can get me knocked off, by cars and thugs.

But I am concerned with safety and avoid pedestrians,
at all costs...
He said the car(s) had stopped because there were people
in front of the cars, and thought I was going to hit them...

He basically wants bikes to sit behind car exhaust and
stop (losing our A/C), even when cars are blocking
the bike lane, double parked etc...

He seemed to tell me to stay on the trail,
but then corrected himself that I can be on the road too.
(reference a comment I had on photos of grates
and design issues on Eisenhower Ave bridges?)

I think with the Tasing Pedicabber in DC and stuff
this is going to be bad, or the potential to be really bad,
someone stopped while biking is not going to know
if it is going to get ugly and brutal...
