[FLPERMACULTURE] Designers Circle

Hello FL Permies,

Over the last three years, we have watched the
permaculture movement grow here in the Finger Lakes
with many projects, classes and gatherings.  To
continue this growth and to facilitate greater unity
and cooperation between permaculture teachers,
designers and students, I would like to propose the
creation of a new forum for this group.  Starting
sometime in January, I would be willing to facilitate
a informal monthly designer's circle.  At these
gatherings, we can rotate around to different
projects, talk about these designs, and conduct some
informal design exercises and critiques.   Each
designer might use these meetings to improve upon
their work and receive a fresh perspective on elements
of their designs.  The group in turn can use these
gatherings to network, update the community about
their work, and hopefully a greater sense of
cooperation will emerge.

So anyone who is interested in these gatherings, let
us begin to discuss the vision for designer's circles
and hopefully we can have our first one sometime in
January.  The feeling that I get from others who I've
chatted with about this idea is that it should be
limited to teachers, designers and students currently
involved in earning their design certificate so that
everyone is on the same page.  Hope everyone has a
