[FLPERMACULTURE] Emergency petition to salvage Bali--US is dousing efforts

Dear All,

I hope it is OK to post this to the list. It seems like A LOT is at stake
in this particular effort, and the time-window is very short to act, so I'm
going ahead and getting the word out.

There have been some unfortunate developments at the international
conference at Bali on climate change: US, Canada, and Japan are doing
their best to undermine meaningful action on climate change. This petition
by Avaaz (a different one than I told the list about the other day) is
asking delegates to push forward strongly anyway, despite the
opposition. See details below. They already have gotten nearly 100,000
signatures in the past day and are trying to rustle up as many as they
possibly can, within the period of the conference, so anyone you can think
to send this to would be good.

Best,
Molly
