NATIVE SEED PROPAGATION WORKSHOP
with Dan Segal
Fingerlakes Native Plant Society

Tuesday, February 13th
5:30-6:30 PM
Horton Classroom, KPL (Tower Road Greenhouses)
Cornell University

******************************************
Brrrr! It's cold outside! Believe it or not, tis the season for sowing
our medicinal seeds. Come join us this Tuesday night at the KPL
Greenhouses to learn about native seed harvesting and treatment from Dan
Segal of the Fingerlakes Native Plant Society.

Dan is the owner/operator of The Plantsmen Nursery and has been
collecting
seeds and growing native plants for environmental landscaping and
restoration for more than 15 years. Please check out his site full of
beautiful photographs and helpful articles for tending to your ecogarden
across the seasons: http://www.plantsmen.com/

Bring your friends and those seeds that you collected last fall for some
hands-on shaking, scarifying and stratifying. Or, come help us treat
seeds to transplant into our forest medicinal garden this summer at the
Nut Grove.

Forward this message many times so that Dan gets an earful of questions!
