*Position: Tree Planter/Permaculture Installer*

Description: ** *
We are currently filling remaining spaces on a planting crew for a mid 
April into May/June planting. The project will involve planting out 
fields and lawn with edible and windbreak species in the first phase of 
an ecological development of a large site in Northern Vermont. The
installation will represent one of the largest ecologically-integrated 
developments in the country and will utilize hundreds of 
multi-functional species. Opportunity for future work is possible. There 
are also other permaculture development projects underway in which we 
are seeking additional personnel.

*Qualifications: *
Demonstrated hard-working ability in challenging outdoor
environments. Skill and experience with a range of tools is important as 
is a background in ecology/natural systems. Knowledge of permaculture, 
ecologically-integrated, or agroforestry systems is helpful. Any 
farming, gardening, plant, land development and building experience is 
also a plus.

*Duration:* Mid-April to early June, 2007
*Start Date:* April 15, weather permitting
*Hours:* 50-60 hrs/wk
*Compensation:* Based on qualifications.
