Hi Joe,
I have been collecting scrap vintage fabric for making shopping bags
(using replaceable cardboard bottoms so they stay open and are easy
to pack). I have a model bag for a pattern that was made from
recycled plastic bottles, but don't like the idea of making people
feel "good/green" about using plastic bottles, so I prefer making
ones from cloth. I will be out of town until June, but could
probably start making them in late June.
I would also suggest Ginny and Chris Gartlein for their wood products
(they are also vendors at the Farmers' Market). And of course many
other IFM vendors would be appropriate.
Good luck!
Margaret
