Well it’s been a bumpy road between the flu and crazy
scheduals, but things are finally moving out on the
farm. Last week we poured footers and received our
roof delivery for the sugar shack. Justin, the
designer and builder, has been busy working away
milling up posts, beams and rafters. And the sap is
running again!

Over the next two weeks we will be building and
boiling and we’re going to need your help. We are
looking for volunteers for the following tasks
starting Saturday: transporting milled wood and the
evaporator, set up and clean evaporator, skilled
builders for construction, some tree tapping and of
course boiling.

So please, if you have some free time over the coming
weeks, come help out for a few hours. Volunteers will
receive a share of syrup at the end of the season to
reward their efforts. Please contact me if you are
interested in helping out at 280-8498.

Thanks
Josh
