This is an encouragement to submit proposals on sustainable agriculture issues
to the NRI's "Agricultural Prosperity for Small & Medium Sized Farms" Program.
The submission deadline is June 5, 2008. The RFA can be found on pages
111-112 of the NRI RFA: www.csrees.usda.gov/funding/rfas/nri_rfa.html.
As you will recall, proposals for this program must be "integrated" [contain
at least two of the three functions: research, outreach, and education].
This year the program is highlighting involvement of Extension folks &
curriculum development that involves K-12 teachers. The program also
encourages applications on sustainable biofuel production.
