[FLPERMACULTURE] Looking for permaculture-sensitive Architect

Hello, 
My partner and I are looking for an architect to work with to plan and build a simple, beautiful home on a property several miles from Greene, NY.
We have been working with a permaculturist who has helped us with the "big picture" and possible site for our new home.  We are interested in finding an architect with whom we can work with in the area who is into building sustain-ably and as "green" as our building budget allows, for example, maximizing passive solar exposure to aid in heating. We are also quite interested as of late in the idea of building in the spirit and design of a "Longhouse."
