Hey Hey Hey!

We're taking to the streets tomorrow afternoon to let
folks know about the impending demonstrations against
the IMF and the World Bank and need a few more fun-
loving folks to come out and work with puppets and
flags as we wind our way through some of DC's finest
neighborhoods.

We'll meet at 4pm at a NW location still being
decided, and it should last for about two hours.

Please let me know if you can come! It will
definitely be a high- energy occasion and a great
chance to learn how to use the puppets and talk to
regular folks about global justice.

Because another world is still possible, Alix

The D.C. Justice & Solidarity Collective cordially invites you to a legal
training for the upcoming demonstrations organized by the Anti-Capitalist
Convergence and the Mobilization for Global Justice. Organizers,
participants, and community members are welcome.

We will review Basic Rights and Possible Charges in the District of
Columbia, possible Encounters with Police, Info for High-Risk Groups,
The System: D.C. Jails & Courts, Solidarity, Tips for Affinity Groups,
and Videography. We will have an immigration lawyer on hand Wednesday
evening to answer any questions. Copies of the demonstration manual will
made available (and will be up on our web site soon!).*

Anyone wishing to volunteer with the collective must attend a full-length
training - we'll have volunteer check-in's at the end.

Also - we have not been able to locate a space for Wed. & Thur. evenings,
if anyone has any ideas (or just a general question), please contact us
