Hi all,

MGJ will be meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 2/26, with all of our LASC comrades 
at 6:30 pm at the Josephine Butler Center (next to Malcolm X park). Sorry 
for the confusion -- the originally scheduled meeting was postponed due to 
the blizzard, and we momentarily forgot that LASC had already scheduled a 
roundtable for this week. See you all tomorrow!

The Latin America Solidarity Coailition (LASC) is setting up a
roundtable with local organizations in view of the April
Mobilization. This is primarily an effort to introduce ourselves to
the community in Columbia Heights and to get your input about the
mobilization and also to hear and learn from your experiences.

In the "Overarching Principles that Guide our Work", the
LASC states that "We recognize that many issues are inter-
connected and that there is potential to make links between Latin
America solidarity issues and the work of local community groups."
