The Latin Jazz Alley and the Mobilization for Global Justice invite

Party for Social Justice

When? Thursday March 6, starting at 7pm

Where? Latin Jazz Alley, 1721 Columbia Rd. in Adams Morgan

What? Enjoy salsa and merengue music, dance, sample Latin Jazz's
legendary margaritas and mojitos!

What else? Prizes!

Why? Tips and $1 per alcoholic drink ordered will be donated to
support the spring mobilizatioin of the Latin America Solidarity
Coalition (LASC). The mobilization, April 10-15, will include a
conference, lobbying, and a big march/rally on Sunday April 13.

What is LASC working for? An end to "free trade" and "free market"
plans. An end to U.S. military and political intervention, aid, and
training in Latin America and the Caribbean. Respect for indigenous
treaty, land, and cultural rights. An end to the drug war's assault on
people of color and the poor. Amnesty for immigrants.

Por que? Las propinas y un dolar por cada bebida alcoholica de tu
consumo seran destinados a la mobilizacion que organiza la Coalicion
de Solidaridad por Latino America (LASC). La mobilizacion del 10-15 de
aberil incluira conferencias y una gran marcha el domingo 13 de abril.

Cuales son las metas del LASC? No al tratado de Libre Comercio. No a
la intervencion, asistencia, y entrenamiento militares. Respeto a
Tratados Indigenas, tierras, y derechos culturales. Paro a la "guerra
de las drogas" contra gente de color y/o pobres. Amnestia Ahora! Paro
al ataque en contra de los imigrantes.
