Come out to celebrate the victory of the Global Justice Movement against the
World Trade Organization (WTO) in September 2003 - The derailing of the WTO
is a milestone and was won by the grassroots power that was generated in the
streets of Cancun, Mexico and all over the world.
Set the stage for the next phase of the struggle.

WHAT ELSE? Enjoy spoken word artists, salsa and merengue music; dance;
sample Latin Jazz's legendary margaritas and mojitos!

WHERE? LATIN JAZZ ALLY, 1721 Columbia Road NW

WHY? Proceeds will be donated to subsidize travel to the Fall Actions to
Stop the FTAA and to Shut Down the SOA in November 2003 in Miami, Florida
and Fort Benning, Georgia.

The event will include a commemoration of Korean Farmer Lee Kyong Hae who
took his life in an act of protest against unjust WTO policies during the
actions in Cancun.

latest updates on the planning for the Fall Actions to Stop the FTAA and to
Shut Down the SOA.
