[mgj-announce] Party recap / Next meeting

Y'all,

Tonight's party at Latin Jazz Alley was both inspiring and fun - thanks for
those who rolled through and made it a success!  Personally, my favorite part
was the Korean-American Cultural Center's contribution.

As we indicated tonight, our immediate aim is to increase our organizing
energy heading into the November actions against the FTAA and SoA.  Whether
you're going to Miami or not, there are plenty of ways to contribute, and we
need all the energy we can get.  We've got just over 30 days to actualize a
world-historical opportunity to seek justice - let's not allow it to pass us
by.

MGJ general meeting: Wednesday, 10/15, 7:30 pm @ the Flemming Center (1426 9th
St NW @ P St.)

(preliminary) Agenda:
 - Form working groups for MGJ contingent in Miami
 - Form working groups for local solidarity action(s)
 - Identify groups with which to co-sponsor actions

Herb Ettel will facilitate.
