Mobilization for Global Justice Upcoming Meetings


Saturday, May 7, 1:00pm - BIODEMOCRACY WORKING GROUP
The Asylum, in Adams Morgan: 2471 18th Street, very close to the
intersection with Columbia, on the same side of the street as Madam's Organ.
Come help plan a teach-in and other activities for the Biodemocracy protest
happening in response to the biotech industry annual conference in
Philadelphia June 18-21.  Join the fight for safe food, empowered farmers
and a healthy environment!

Tuesday, May 10, 7:00pm - TAX THE BANK WORKING GROUP
50 Years Is Enough office
Red line metro: Brookland/CUA stop. After the turnstiles, take the righthand
exit. Walk up Otis St two blocks to 12th St. Enter through side door on
Otis.
We'll be talking about how to force the World Bank and IMF to pay their
taxes to the City of Washington DC - to the tune of 1.1 billion per year!

St. Stephens Church, downstairs in the dining hall
(16th and Newton St. NW, Washington DC)
>From the Columbia Heights metro walk north on 14th, turn left on Newton and
walk until you reach 16th. Enter on the side.  There is wheelchair access at
the back of the building.
