Come join the next meeting of the coalition planning events of resistance for the IMF/World Bank meetings in October!

A dynamic (and so far very informal) coalition has been coming together to plan actions to resist the IMF/World Bank meetings in Washington DC on October 19-21, and connect the actions to other major issues locally and worldwide, such as gentrification and privatization, the assault on immigrants' rights, and war and militarism. The last meeting drew about 20 people, including people from at least 10 organizations (though not necessarily formally representing the organizations), as well as unaffiliated individuals.

Please join our next meeting on Saturday, to help make the actions a success!

When: Saturday July 21, 3 pm.
Where: Petworth Public Library, at the intersection of Georgia Ave., Kansas Ave., and Upshur St. NW (about 5 blocks from the Georgia Ave. Petworth Metro).
