STAND UP AGAINST NAZIS IN DC! 
                             
WHAT: Permitted Unity Rally to Counter White Power
Racists in DC
WHEN: Saturday, August 24, meet at 10am
WHERE: Meet at Constitution and 1st Street, NW --
Rally to be held on the mall at the Capitol reflecting
pool
                             
WHY:
The National Alliance (NA), this country's most
organized white supremacist organization, is planning
a major mobilization of white power advocates for a
rally on the Capital steps on August 24th.    The DC
Anti-Fascist Network is organizing an a
counter-demonstration to stand up against the NA's
efforts to recruit and build in the post-9/11
atmosphere of racism and attacks on civil liberties. 
This event will mark the sixth time that the National
Alliance has visited DC in the last year, following a
May demonstration of over 250 racists outside the
Israeli Embassy.  Hard-core racist groups that work
with the NA have been organizing throughout the
Greater DC area from Reston, VA to Frederick and
Baltimore, MD.  The Nazis and the National Alliance
will not go away by being ignored, only an organized
mass action can break the power and confidence of the
National Alliance and other white power groups
throughout this country.  No Nazis In DC!
