If Mexico blows and Bu$h intervenes, it's ON! This is the war that the US has both feared and threatened at least since 1981, when the Sandanistas were in power, the people of El Salvador were fighting to be rid of Duarte, and Reagan feared that Central America was the fuse and Mexico the bomb at AmeriKKKa's back door.
If this happens, we should do everything in out power to support the uprising in Mexico. If Mexico blows, it could blow capitalism out of all Latin America for the forseeable future and will not only stop teh FTAA but turn back NAFTA as well. In addition, it will be a humiliating defeat for the US and even an opening for the American Southwest to take action against Capital as well!
