DON'T MISS THE NEXT MEETING OF THE MOBILIZATION FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE!!!

When:  Wednesday, March 20th
Time:    7:30-9:30 pm
Where: St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 
         1525 16th St., NW (16th and Newton)

The meeting will focus on the upcoming April actions and how MGJ will be 
participating.  Several working groups are up and running...come to the 
meeting and find out how you can plug in!  We will also have an update on the 
exciting work that's getting underway with the National Campaign for Jobs and 
Income Support.  

Also, two excellent speakers will be joining the group.  Marie Simone 
Alexandre is a Haitian activist and women’s health nurse and advocate.  She 
is also a member of 
the advisory board of the Lambi Fund of Haiti.  Beverly Bell is the Director 
of the Center for Economic Justice and author of the new book "Walking on 
Fire: Haitian Women’s Stories of Survival and Resistance".  The women will 
address globalization and gender justice, especially as it relates to Haitian 
women.
