My own personal experience -- along with that of many folks I've worked with -- is that no matter how much you try to educate corporate media drones about the issues, you're always going to get a bunch of shit about how it's going to tie up traffic, and a 30-second sustained-roll shot of Untengruppenfuehrer Terrence "Kick Me Hard" Gainer congratulating his heroic troops at the Hilton on another afternoon of superflous overtime on my goddamn' dime. Don't even get me started about CNN training Army psyops grunts a couple of years ago; hell, we may as well let those friggin' uniformed USSS goons with miniDV's in shoot the meetings.

As far as the masking up goes, I masked up for the first time ever in my life at the Monday morning march on 04.22, as I knew we were in the space that was being covered by surveillance cameras, unilaterally, without the consent of the governed, for my own "protection", at "special events", and believe I have a right to protect what's left of my privacy and liberty by any means necessary. I didn't consent to being photographed that morning, and don't consent to it at meetings, and I think it's really disturbing that -- stop me if I've misheard -- media are being allowed in during the _entire_ meeting(?) I know there was always that "meet and greet" business, but then they were booted for the "meat" of the meeting.

(...although, I gotta admit that quote from Luke was a knockout.
I think the situation would've been much worse if he hadn't
been able to pop off on TV. Rock on, Luke.)
