Remember - Rally to Save the Franklin Shelter this Monday, July 28, 2003!
Had enough of the government favoring rich developers and politicians
while it kicks the homeless out onto the street?
Come demand that the city put an end to closing down homeless shelters
in DC! We are issuing a call for visible resistance to gentrification
and those who are causing it. Re-open the Franklin Shelter!
Join T.R.i.B.E, Mayday DC, and The Grey Panthers of Metropolitan DC for
a lively protest and direct action this monday at city hall. Meet at
14th st. and Pennsylvania Avenue at noon on July 26th.
peace,
marlon from Mayday DC
