James Wolfensohn, president of the World Bank, --    you know, "More world, less bank"   --will be speaking at the National Press Club at a luncheon sponsored

 by the Club on Wednesday, October 29th at 1:00 pm.  The lunch starts

 at 12:30; the speech starts at 1:01 pm.  This luncheon is open to

 all members of the press.  There is a charge for the lunch

 (too much for most of us, approx. $40), but if you want to

 partake, call the Press Club to make reservations.  

If you want to go just to hear Mr. Wolfensohn's speech, 

you can sit in the chairs in the back of the room or

 in the balcony section.  Questions are collected on NPC card

s and sent to the front of the room where they are selected 

by the president of the National Press CLub.  nls
