Folks,

Media and messaging working groups met by conf. call today. Decisions were:

Hold our kick-off press conf. week of April 5 at Nat. Press Club. Soren and 
David are pursuing speakers. We'll produce press advisory, release (to 
blast fax and email...) and kits for the event.

Op-Eds: Debbi and Soren doing primary work on getting known authors to 
target Post and several other large city dailies.

Radio PSAs: Mark and Herb collaborating to get a general one produced via 
IMC/DC Radio Collective, for play on WPFW and other Pacifica stations in April.

Herb's exploring advance notices and coverage in local papers, e.g. City 
Paper, Takoma Gazette and Latino pubs.

David and Herb continue work updating, building press list, and web site
