Please be a part of Mobilization for Global Justice (MGJ) actions for
global economic justice during the counter-innaugural week!

You have two opportunities to participate in actions that make the link
between the disastrous economic, social, and environmental policies
followed by the Bush administration at home (and in Iraq) and the equally
disastrous "structural adjustment" policies imposed by the World Bank and
International Monetary Fund on much of the world.

A. Flyering outside the World Bank

On Tuesday January 18, we will hand out flyers outside the World Bank to
draw attention to the disaster in South and Southeast Asia and the role of
the World Bank and IMF in exacerbating the crisis and obstructing real
reconstruction.

Place: We will meet in Murrow Park (small triangular park bounded by 18th
St. NW, H St. NW and Pennsylvania Ave. NW), and cross the street to flyer
outside the Bank.
Time: 5:30 pm.
Date: Tuesday January 18
Metro: Farragut North on Red Line, Farragut West on Blue/Orange Lines.
MGJ will provide the flyers - just show up!

B. Global Justice contingent in main counter-innaugural march

On Thursday January 20, MGJ is organizing a global justice contingent in
the major counter-innaugural march. We will provide flyers for handing out
that make the connection between Bush administration and IMF/World Bank
policies, and provide (a few) signs. Feel free to bring your own signs and
noisemakers!

Place: we will meet at the corner of 16th St. and Crescent St. NW, ACROSS
16th St. from Malcolm X Park where the rally assembles.
Time: 9 am.
Date: Thursday January 20
Metro: U Street Cardozo or Columbia Heights on Green Line

Hope to see you at both events!
