CAFTA OUTREACH DAY!  CAFTA OUTREACH DAY!  CAFTA OUTREACH DAY!


This coming Sunday, July 24, join us from 2:00 to 4:00pm in Adams Morgan to
raise awareness about CAFTA.  Wear a tube head* and hand out fliers!

The Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA) will
be voted on by the end of the month.  THAT MEANS NEXT WEEK!  It has already
passed in the Senate and now it is being voted on in the House.  It will be
a close vote, but it can be defeated if we keep up the pressure.  If CAFTA
is defeated it will be a severe blow to the corporate global agenda and the
Bush agenda.  Come help us get the word out about CAFTA on Sunday!  We'll be
meeting in the park in front of City Bikes in Adams Morgan, near Columbia
and 17th.  We need your help!  Please join us!

Another great way to help defeat CAFTA is to phonebank at Public Citizen's
Global Trade Watch.  They are there every day until 8:30pm.  If you want to
help just give them a call at (202) 454-5106 and let them know you're
coming.  The address is 215 Pennsylvania Ave. SE.  The closest metro stop is
Capitol South on the Orange/Blue line.  We here in DC can't tell our
Representative to vote NO on CAFTA, but we can get other people to do it!


NO on CAFTA!  DEFEAT CAFTA!  NO on CAFTA!  DEFEAT CAFTA!
