Millions for the World Bank and IMF......Millions cut for affordable housing in
DC!

Fundraiser for the April 2005 Mobilization against the World Bank and IMF and
Empower DC:

A Better World is Under Construction!

This April the World Bank and International Monetary Fund meet here in
Washington DC. In the streets the people will be showing there continued
resistance to the policies of both institutions as well as resistance to the
neo-liberal agenda globally. Together we will celebrate all the good that is
created by people around the world in the spirit of constructing a better more
just world for all. From Brazil to Nigeria to Washington DC people are
organizing, creating and constructing a better world. The mobilization for
Global Justice needs funds to organize this years mobilization. MGJ also
recognizes the importance of continued community organizing. Thus a portion of
the proceeds raised will go to Empower DC; a local housing rights group working
to ensure all DC residents have affordable housing.
