*spread the word! Thanks!*
On Sunday August 19th at 1419 Gallatin St NW, Washington, DC 20011 from 9:30 to 3pm the Brian MacKenzie Infoshop will be hosting a BIG, HUGE, FABULOUS yard sale to raise money for the Infoshop's moving fund.
That's right. The BMI is looking to move in the next year as we see our lease expire and look forward to finding a bigger, more flexible and functional space to grow our work, the store front and collaborations with activist and organizations in DC. (More info on that and the shop below.)
This yard sale is a great chance for you to get involved in the moving effort.
1. Donate some stuff to the yard sale! Got lot's of stuff pilling up around you that you've been looking for a way to get rid of? Well, donate it to the BMI's yard sale! E-mail BMI volunteer Chris at straightambition11 at yahoo.com. Let him know what you've got and how and when we can get the donation.
2. Come out to the yard sale and help the BMI raise some much needed funds to get us moving! Theirs bound to be some great stuff you've just been dying to find like a new bored game or a juicer, maybe even a new piece of furniture.
3. Spread the word. Let your friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family know that you've got a great way they could put all that stuff
cluttering up the basement or garage to use for a good cause. Or let 'em know a great place they could spend the the morning on Sunday Aug. 19th and bring them along with you to the yard sale.

*The Infoshop is both a radical book and record shop, as well as a resource center located at 1426 9th St. NW in Washington DC.*
The shop has been open for just about five years. Soon the lease on the BMI's space will be up and the shop is looking to move to a new, bigger and more functional space. The funds raised from this show will go towards helping the Infoshop to move to a new space.
To host a benefit event to help the Infoshop in this moving effort or to get involved in volunteering and organizing with the BMI call

The BMI is organized around anarchist principles and are volunteer and cooperatively run. In addition to our modest selection of radical books, and politically charged independent punk, hip-hop, folk, spoken word and audio cd's & records we maintain a small video lending library of documentary and political films; provide free computer and internet access; make available meeting and event space for radical groups and projects; sponsor a variety of political and cultural events such as hosting speakers and authors, film-screenings, artists and various performers; as well as provide a gathering space for radical activist to meet and connect with other activists, independent thinkers, and organizing projects. We work to promote and support the fight for global justice and total liberation.
