*spread the word! Thanks!*

BIG, HUGE, FABULOUS yard Sale!
Sunday, Aug. 19th 9:30 - 3:00pm
1419 Gallatin St NW, Washington, DC 20011

A benefit for the Brian MacKenzie Infoshop!

All the money raised will go towards the Infoshop's moving fund.

That's right. The BMI is looking to move in the next year as we see our lease expire and look forward to finding a bigger, more flexible and functional space to grow our work, the store front and collaborations with activist and organizations in DC. (More info on that and the shop below.)

*The Infoshop is both a radical book and record shop, as well as a resource center located at 1426 9th St. NW in Washington DC.*

The shop has been open for just about five years. Soon the lease on the BMI's space will be up and the shop is looking to move to a new, bigger and more functional space. The funds raised from this show will go towards helping the Infoshop to move to a new space.

To host a benefit event to help the Infoshop in this moving effort or to get involved in volunteering and organizing with the BMI call
202-986-0681 stop on by the shop at 1426 9th St. NW, e-mail info (at) dcinfoshop.org <mailto:info*dcinfoshop.org> or check out the web site at www.dcinfoshop.org <http://www.dcinfoshop.org>

The BMI is organized around anarchist principles and are volunteer and cooperatively run. In addition to our modest selection of radical books, and politically charged independent punk, hip-hop, folk, spoken word and audio cd's & records we maintain a small video lending library of documentary and political films; provide free computer and internet access; make available meeting and event space for radical groups and projects; sponsor a variety of political and cultural events such as hosting speakers and authors, film-screenings, artists and various performers; as well as provide a gathering space for radical activist to meet and connect with other activists, independent thinkers, and organizing projects. We work to promote and support the fight for global justice and total liberation.
