Join the growing effort to organize for major demonstrations against neoliberalism during the IMF/World Bank meetings in Washington DC, October 19-21! The protests will link the global onslaught of the IMF and World Bank with the local onslaught of gentrification, privatization, and anti-immigrant policies. We have an exciting series of direct actions, marches, teach-ins, and other activities planned for the weekend – check out http://octoberrebellion.org for details.

What: Meeting of “October Coalition”, an informal coalition organizing in Washington, DC for the protests.
Where: Petworth Public Library basement meeting room, Georgia and Kansas Ave. NW (5 blocks North of the Petworth metro).
When: Saturday September 1, 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Bring your passion for justice, your energy and your creativity!
