An urgent appeal from the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation (below), in connection with outreach for the June 10 action to demand an end to the occupation! Any help from MGJers on this will be greatly appreciated by the June 10 organizers.

Especially note the appeal in part 2 for art-making materials. I have some extra cardboard and paint in my house – would MGJers object if I donated them to the art-making for June 10? Please let me know soon (by tomorrow, i.e. Tuesday May 29, evening) if you do.

1. Wheatpasters are needed in DC, MD and VA.  If you are interested in wheatpasting, please contact Jake at june10 at endtheoccupation.org, or better yet,organize yourselves in groups of three and have a point person from each team contact Jake.  Posters are available at the Campaign Office(1736 Columbia Rd. NW, phone: 202-332-0994).

The Campaign is meeting for a wheatpasting action tomorrow (Tuesday May 29) night at Jake’s place in Shaw - headed out into the U street environs.

2. The Campaign is in search of banner making materials for a banner making party on Monday, June 4.  We're getting crews out to some key intersections next week during the afternoon commute and planning on doing some banner hangs, etc.  We may end up buying some materials anyway, but are trying to take stock of what endorsing groups may be able to contribute.  Let me know if ya'll can help.
