<DIV class=summary>The Washington Post has reported that the Naxelite(Maoist) movement in rural parts of India has suceeeded in making their forest homes "no-go zones for the government." This in turn has stopped multinational corporations from destroying some areas for mining projects! </DIV>

<DIV class=body>Thanks to the Naxelites, India is joining in the proud tradition of nations such as Bolivia that haved booted out multinational Earth-destroying corporations, the IMF, the World bank, et all. For now they defend their homes, but as they grow corporate thugs will think twice before setting up anywhere in India.<BR><BR>Like in Bolivia, like in Nepal where a fascist king has been forced from absolute power, like in places all over the world where people are saying NO, the Naxelites are rising up to put an end to offical oppression and to the seizure of their land to be handed over to foreign business interests.<BR><BR>With ancient rifles and with utter determination they have pushed foreign mining companies as well as the government to their knees in their villages and in their forests. </DIV></DIV></div></html>
