[Mintwood-place] Not True

Karyn Good's e-mail dated Friday afternoon read:

"Parking obstructions have been put back in place for the weekend with
additional barrels on the south side of the street toward Columbia Road.  A
'Road Closed' sign has been placed on Columbia Road at the entrance to
Mintwood."

Not true.  No "Road Closed" sign, no parking obstructions.  Result?  Same old problems with folks parking wherever the they damn well please.  And of course, there was no enforcement of the "No Parking - Emergency" signs either.

Perhaps before writing definitives like "has been placed," DOT may want to double-check that the contractors are doing what they're apparently saying they're doing.
