person performance at DCAC, - all invited and Welcome.  Eddie

Don't Miss Camainata -- All Shows will start PROMPTLY at 8:00 pm! 
 
Quique Aviles, DC's own Latino performing artist and poet presents the 
premier of the full version of his one-man show, Caminata: A Walk 
through Immigrant America. Meet someone from the Central African Republic, 
an Iraqi, a Russian, a Salvadorean, a South Korean adopted by white 
Americans, a New Yorker born to Italian parents who posed as French to 
enter the U.S., and, finally, an immigrant of unknown origin. Building on 
last year's collaboration, Quique Aviles and Director B Stanley add 
three new voices to the show.

Caminata: A walk through immigrant America is presented by Sol & Soul, 
a Washington, DC-based arts and activism organization. This performance 
is funded by: the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and the 
Humanities Council of Washington DC. 
 
Caminata: A Walk Through Immigrant America
WHEN:  October 2 - 18th -- Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays @ 8:00 pm.

Tickets are $12 and $7 for students, seniors and DCAC members. 
A post-performance discussion with the audience follows all shows.
