[Mintwood-place] Parking signs

I need clarification as to what constitutes legal parking with regard to
emergency parking signs. I was under the impression that a car was
legally parked as long as it was not parked *between* the emergency
parking signs. I received a ticket despite the fact that i was not
parked between signs. Is there an "additional" no parking zone that
extends a certain distance on either side of a sign ?
