I'm writing today because Councilman Adrian Fenty and I are supporting
Jeff Smith for School Board (Wards One and Two).

But the endorsement we want most is from you. We hope you will vote for
Jeff Smith on Tuesday.

Jeff Smith is a consensus builder, who was a successful product of the
DC Public Schools. He went on to earn two degrees from Howard
University, including a law degree. He has taught in DC Public Schools.
As such he knows from his own experience what works and what doesn't.

Jeff Smith promises engagement with the communities and neighborhoods.
He will work from the grass roots up to make long overdue, major changes
in the quality of education in our city.

Jeff Smith will build alliances and find common ground.

Jeff Smith is going to make a difference for us all.

He is FIRST ON THE BALLOT. Please vote for Jeff Smith on Tuesday.
