[Mintwood-place] park

[Hargrove]

I live on Belmont Road and over the years have enjoyed the park for a 
variety of purposes, first, for example, with my own small children, 
later with grandchildren and sometimes just to enjoy the squirrels and 
trees.  I mention this because it's a very small space overall, and kids 
when they grow beyond toddler stage really enjoy playing or picnicing on 
the green stretches of the park, as do adults, and that includes the 
area closest to the Mintwood side that presents a somewhat more level 
surface than the oak grove does.  Our family used to have a dog, and so 
I can sympathize with dog owners, but it seems to me that this park is 
not big enough, or separated enough from nearby neighbors, to include a 
dog run.
