[Mintwood-place] Homicide off 14th Street

Dear Friends:
 
Last night police report a homicide on the 1400 block of Chapin. It
occurred at about 11 PM. A man was shot dead, once in the head and two
to the chest. This appears to be a targeted shooting.
 
The victim is unidentified at this time, and is classed as a "John Doe".
 
Police are currently questioning "persons of interest" in connection
with this murder. Two people are being sought with this description:
Black male, 18-25, 6 feet tall, skull cap clean shaven; and another
Black male with a hat with a white stripe.
 
There was a second shooting about 8 PM on the 1400 block of Spring Road.
A man was wounded in the leg and is expected to make a recovery. He is
from Maryland and has a history of drug convictions.
 
I will let you know more as I received information.
