Councilman Graham:

A new waterline to the Kalorama garden was completed May 13th. It'll
hit 80 degrees today, but not one drop of water will flow through the
line. Why not? Because the waterline isn't hooked up to a functioning
WASA service line. Where's the disconnect? Somewhere very near the hole
with exposed pipe right next to the entrance to the kid's playground. On
the one hand, the garden hasn't had a functioning water line in over two
years, so it may take some archeology to find the water line. On the
other hand, the fact that not a single DPR or WASA employee has been on
site in the last two weeks might also be a factor, don't you think?

So Councilman, what's it going to take to finish a simple plumbing
job? Maybe some kid falling into the hole?
