[Mintwood-place] Ward One Identity Theft Event Wednesday, October 3

Dear Friends:



Please join me, Councilmember Cheh, and AARP for an event next Wednesday,
October 3, to prevent identity theft.  You can bring up to two boxes of your
personal documents to be shredded, for free!



Operation Take Charge will be held Wednesday, October 3 at the intersection
of 14 St, Park Rd, and Kenyon St, NW from 10am – 2pm.  Join us for a short
program at 11am or come by any time before 1pm for a chance to win a free
personal shredder.



Please remember to use caution and only dispose documents you no longer
need, such as copies of credit applications, credit card offers and expired
charge cards.
